To determine your specific requirements, please contact our staff. Contact details are listed at WissKI and FAUWissKICloud. Applications can be made primarily for personnel costs or equipment costs, depending on the funding provider. Please therefore consult us early on about your project application. We advise securing management of the project for the duration of the project, for example, making an application for personnel costs for a 25% position for a project duration of one year.
Footnotes:
[1] CDI can ensure the compatibility of extensions with system updates for managed WissKI instances only. The customer is responsible for this for non-managed instances.

Information about one-off charges
Expenses for research data management (this includes ELN) are eligible for funding. Please ensure you include enough funds to cover this in your project application and refer to this list of costs and services. This also applies to all further applications.
Calculation examples (with an unlimited number of users in each case):
- Individual/technical support: 500 euros per application
- Group projects: 500 euros per co-applicant, e.g. RTG with 8 PIs = 4,000 euros
- If the project comprises several funding periods, the one-off costs are charged for each funding period (apply for enough funding!)
100 GB of data volume is available per project/co-applicant (e.g. RTG with 8 PIs = 800 GB storage).
